The Health Care Debate Just Got Personal.
In January, my bearded companion was laid off, and thus lost his health care coverage. He is self-employed now, and like a responsible adult, applied to pay out of pocket for coverage through Regence. Today he got a letter from them, which said that they would not sell him health insurance because his family has “a history of anxiety.”
